Daily Outfit: EShakti

This is NOT a real outfit post! I repeat NOT a real outfit. No really, I swear. I guess it could be but I doubt I would wear these pieces together. I bought each one because I liked them. Besides it is freaking snowing out there and I don’t own any navy colored shoes or tights (or even green tights) so nude shoes and bare legs is so NOT.GOING.TO.HAPPEN. I”m just happy to own nude pumps finally. And I didn’t bother to get out the wrinkles in each piece which causes them both to sit a bit funny (that and the way I am holding my arm to my side to hide my arm fat). Yay, I know. I could have done better but didn’t. Trust me it does fit properly. And honestly I will probably wear it with sweaters, cardigans and the like anyhow. I hate having my chicken wings flap in the breeze.

ANYHOW! I bought these pieces from eShakti during that massive sale just before Thanksgiving and I wanted share yet another assessment of them since I did something different this time around. This time I shrunk every measurement by an inch. It worked beautifully. The red dress fits but it doesn’t “fit fit” if you know what I mean. These 2 pieces fit so much better. I definitely recommend going down the inch. The green top I love. It has tuxedo tails and drapes beautifully when not tucked in. The skirt on the other hand I am really unsure of. It wrinkles. Badly and easily. I love how it is supposed to look but it is so damn fussy! And with it being high-waisted it makes me look pregnant. And again I have to mention the no navy shoes thing. I have no idea if I will wear this much. Just not practical. But I can see the potential so it stays.

Oh and these pumps from Payless? Love them! Very comfortable, the perfect height at 3 inches and no stupid platform. Definitely worth the $20 price tag. And even in “patent leather” tan they “match” my skin tone. As a pasty girl I am happy about that! I may end up buying them in every color under the rainbow!

    Neato necklace!
How in the hell do you manage to stay so pale? Sheesh, I walk out the 30 feet to my mailbox & I get tan lines. True I live at the coast…but…the sun is the sun right.

It’s called being of Irish and German decent! :D I have never had a tan a day in my life unless it came out of a can or bottle. I burn and quickly I might add. I am just freaky pale. Super freaky pale. In the genes. You know what one piece of advice they give chubby chicks? Tan. Tan fat is more appetizing than pale fat. Yeah…not my lot in my life I’m afraid.
