Daily Outfit: Changes
February 19, 2013 § 4 Comments
Changes in my life, not changes in the blog.
I purchased new goggles on Sunday (hopefully have them soon – my prescription is different enough that it might help my headaches). Very vintage looking I might add! Even more so than these. I have new clothes coming. I have taken up a new hobby that I love. And my mother and I are finalizing travel details for New York and Ireland. I have lots of bits and pieces to purchase. Only 2 months away! I also signed up for yet 2 more Reddit gift exchanges – tea/coffee (tea in my case) and the annual book exchange. Names went out YESTERDAY and BOTH of my partners have already sent (that’s the earliest I have ever had happen). I can’t wait to see what my partners picked for me. Or what mine think of what I sent!
This shirt is another eShakti purchase. I love how it looks on my figure. Definitely a keeper – even with a bit of a windblown look going on. I was trying to describe it earlier today and all I came up with was cardigan-like but with half a handkerchief hem and where the split in the middle is the fabric folds all over itself. I asked if they could envision it. The response was, and I quote, “nope, you just described a gigantic mess.” Ha! I shall try harder next time.

Red peplum split top: eShakti (February 2013)
Dark wash skinny jeans: Torrid (February 2013)
Brown Heeled oxfords: Avenue (December 2010)
Knotted chain necklace: Forever 21 (February 2013)
Silver & stone earrings: Grand Canyon gift shop (May 2012)
You look terrific! Great color on you, and love the style of the blouse.
Thank you!
Great look!
Thank you for your eShakti reviews! I have to order a bridesmaid dress for a wedding this summer from their site. I feel like I have a better idea of what to order based on your photos and reviews! I feel less nervous about it
Thank you!
One thing I do recommend – I didn’t do it the first time but I have since on all my pieces – size down every measurement by 1 inch. It really makes for a better fit. I have address coming soon and was actually going to share that tidbit on that piece since it is definitely more noticeable on the dress than on the tops.
I am utterly in love with eShakti now. Dumb name but great pieces.
